The Most Modern Sail Cut

A spinnaker is a balloon-like downwind sail that is based on a simple geometric form. However, if you take the forces that apply to a three-dimensional body and aerodynamic laws into account, the variable paramaters multiply.

Instead of standard designing programs, RGD™ uses uninhibited free-form 3-D modeling software. This allows unlimited shaping capabilities and individual arrangement of the sail panels. Taking the respective class of sail and the wishes of the customer into consideration, the most modern of sail cuts are created.

RGD™ has been developing spinnakers according to the newest standards for the sail manufacturer ISTEC AG since 2003, and in addition carries the responsibility for highest product quality.
